WHY TRANSPORT FACILITIES TRUST RESAN
Resan® offers functional vandal-resistant sanitary ware, with its modern styling and easy cleaning Resan® would not look out of place in the home. We’ve designed our products to maximise performance, enhanced aesthetics while using a bespoke stonecast material blend of polyester resin and aluminium tri-hydrate that ensure all our sanitary ware offerings have a renewable surface layer.
Gel coat is not used to provide our gloss finish and this distinct advantage means refinishing can be completed on site with minimum labour or materials while being incredibly robust to vandalism and abuse. Resan® will not dent like stainless steel and any scratches in the product can be easily removed. Our bespoke blend creates a high gloss finish which many mistake for vitreous china ceramic. This finish does not require exceptional cleaning regimes, simple regular maintenance with non-specialist cleaning products is all that is required.
Resan® WCs incorporate an integral seat and fully rimless design as standard. The advantage of the integral seat is the reduction of likely damage from the seat being damaged or twisted off during use. We do however offer ABS plastic seats for situations that require it. Our fully rimless flush design is extremely hygienic, with no ledges or crevices that create the potential for scale build-up, it is also far simpler to clean and maintain. All WC pans meet the BS EN 997 standard and operate at as little as 5-litre full flush and 3 litres reduced flush.
Keeping washrooms open, particularly in 24-hour environments such as train stations and airports, is a constant strain to the facilities manager. Resan’s tough construction reduces washroom downtime by withstanding a range of attempts to vandalise. Resan® has been tested to BMA (Bathroom Manufacturer’s Association) and Ministry of Justice robustness standards and approved.
Bespoke sanitary ware equipment can be designed upon project specification consultation. We have created designs in the past for requirements where special fixing points are needed or particular styles of sanitary ware to meet a stringent design brief.
